I am planning on visiting Jacksonville on the 4th and was wondering if there would be fireworks on the 4th at St. Johns River

Yes, there will be fireworks, the culmination of the city's two-day Independence Day festivities. Fireworks over the St. Johns River will begin at 9:45 p.m. and can be seen and heard all along the downtown riverfront.
