I am planning on taking my granddaughter to Chicago over Thanksgiving weekend. We will arrive by train and stay in the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago. I was wondering if the windows on the Miracle Mile will be decorated for Christmas by then and have we chosen a good hotel.

Most cities have started to decorate for Christmas by Thanksgiving. But the best way to find this out is to call your hotel. The employees there know a great deal about the city and someone there would surely know if the windows in Magnificent Mile have been decorated.
