I am planning a trip, sightseeing and hiking, from Natchez to Nashville in the first week of June. Will the flooding of the Mississippi affect any part of the Trace around Natchez?

The official NPS website for the Natchez Trace Parkway is reporting that no flooding is expected and all 444 miles of the route are open. I'd recommend you call the Trace's visitor center before your trip to double-check about the latest. http://www.nps.gov/natr/index.htm
