This is a great place to practice your french. We are a very french province surrounded in a sea of English. The people here are very friendly and will be happy to try to speak to you in English however most people speak only a little English so it gives one a lot of opportunity to try out their French. When I first moved here and was learning french, I met many people who were eager to help me with their language. I found this to be a very refreshing change from my trips to France.

Well, Quebec City is as good as it gets when it comes to speaking French! I was there this past October and it was like a small (and slightly friendlier) facsimile of Paris. Bonne chance!
