I am looking for a cabin for a family of 4 that is ski in ski out on the Whistler property. What would we have to pay to get something decent?
We are considering a vacation with our older kids ages 22 and 18 in mid March.

You're not going to find a humble cabin, per se, but Whistler-Blackcomb is a huge operation with thousands of accommodation options, including plenty of lodges and condos. The ski-in, ski-out options will either be in the main Whistler Village or Upper Village. This won't come cheap. I found three-bedroom units at Upper Village's Arrowhead Pointe or Stoneridge for around CAD$600/night in mid-March, either of which are within spitting distance of ski-in trails. The resort website is a really comprehensive resort, including detailed accommodation maps and listings: http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com/accommodations/map/index.htm. Have a great trip -- things will be hopping, especially with the opening of the new Peak-to-Peak gondola (connecting Whistler and Blackcomb mountains) and everything getting geared up for the 2010 Winter Olympics. If you need more info about skiing at Whistler-Blackcomb, check out Away.com's guide at: http://away.com/skiing/ski_resort.tcl?Whistler_Blackcomb&id=293234
