i am flying into boston (Logan) what is the best and cheapest way to get to my hotel, its only about 6 miles from the airport

It really depends on exactly where you are staying, but you can take a quick and cheap taxi ride, or they have three shuttle services you might be able to take, the Rowes Wharf Water Transport, MBTA Harbor Express, or the City Water Taxi.

The cheapest way is the "T" which is a public transportation/subway system in Boston. Ask your hotel where the nearest T stop is to them. Logan Airport has a "blue line" that stops there. T maps can be downloaded and are very user friendly
