I, along with two other friends, are going to Jackson,WY for a week this July 2010 and we want to see the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. Can we see the Top Ten sights in Yellowstone and still spend each night in Jackson? Or, should we plan to spend one or two nights inside Yellowstone? We will be driving and walking only. We will not be hiking.

Hi Donna... The Tetons and Yellowstone are ALMOST completely accessible from Jackson. Certainly you can get to the Tetons no problem, and most of Yellowstone. But traffic can be atrocious in the park in July, and if you want to see some of the sights in the northern parts of the park (highly recommended), staying a night or two in the park will save you gobs of time in car.
