Well, if you're coming from New York, I suggest taking the ferry, which leaves from the Wall Street area. it's only a 40 minute ride! If you're coming from somewhere other than NY, you'll probably want to drive to Sandy Hook. Visit http://www.nps.gov/gate/planyourvisit/shumasstransit.htm for directions.
