Hi are thinking of heading over to barbados in september and are planning on staying in the south, im a surfer and wandered what are the waves like down south and also whats the best and cheapest way to get around,eg; to bathseba to the soup bowl.

Hey, swindonkev, you should check out this article from The New York Times on Barbados' relatively untrammeled surf scene: http://travel.nytimes.com/2009/03/29/travel/29barbados.html. Kelly Slater calls the Soup Bowl as "one of the top three waves in the world." Jump on one of the privately operated local minibuses to get around for a hopping, if crowded, ride with the locals.
