Hi. Are there any good beaches in New Jersey (ideally but not necessarily in Northern New Jersey) where a family can have access that have rock pools so that children can have a fun and educational time finding and identifying wildlife in a responsible manner?

Avalon or Stone Harbor are very close to the Wetlands Institute that is geared to kids and the eco-science of the area. You are just a short drive to Cape May history and Wildwood rides.
