Hey there, I am bike camping from NYC this weekend and am interested in primitive or wilderness camping. All I can find for Bear Mountain are campsites and cottage rentals. Does anyone have any information about primitive camping sites that you hike into? Thanks!

For a list of camping sites in New York, check out (http://bit.ly/gddgl6). Many sites might be limited to KOA or campgrounds though. You might want to contact the park itself for primitive camping locations (http://bit.ly/di575W).
