Hello. I'm looking for a place to stay in Rome for 2 nights and in Florence for 2 nights for 3 adults and 1 baby. I would really like a place that has a kitchen so that we can meet all our baby's needs - at least a refrigerator. Do you have any recommendations?

Hi Maya, here are a couple of recommendations that my mother-in-law emailed when I pinged her for ideas with regard to your question. The in-laws recently returned from a trip to Rome and Florence, among other places: "There was no refrigerator in the room, but the Hotel Aberdeen in Rome did provide breakfast and it's possible that they might allow the family to store some things in their refrigerator. I think they could e-mail the hotel directly at: hotel.aberdeen@travel.it to inquire. We also liked our hotel in Florence, Residenza il Villino, which also provided breakfast and was small enough that they might be accommodating with their kitchen. I think their e-mail address is: ifno@ilvillino.it. Both of these hotels are within a 15-minute taxi ride of the main train station." In general, I'd say my M-in-L is a pretty discerning traveler who knows good value and service when she sees it! This was they're second stay at the Hotel Aberdeen, if that helps.
