Gray whale watching on March 15-17
Hi we are in Loreto for a kayak trip and would like to do some gray calves watching at Magdalena Bay. What is the chance of still seeing mother grays and calves in the second half of March? Can you recommend some good licensed companies that can guide us once we get there?

From my online research, Mike, it feels like your dates may be a little late. Seems that February and early March are best times for seeing gray whales in this area. You might want to reach out to a few of the outfitters and see if they can offer specific advice. Could also ask them for referrals from past customers, too, if you're thinking about booking a trip!
