Hey there! Yes, Mackinac is a car-free island. Passenger ferries operate out of Mackinaw City and across the Mackinac Bridge from St. Ignace. Three ferry companies run services to the island: Shepler's (June thru October), Star Line (end of April thru October), and Arnold Line (end of March to January).
