Choices in Lovell itself are fairly basic and limited. If you like camping, there's free camping at Trail Creek Campground in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, plus a couple of boat-in camping areas around the lake. For a rustic retreat, try Fort Causeway Farms in the hills east of Lovell. For a bit more choice, including some more upscale options, head about hour down the road from Lovell to Cody, Wyoming, including the Beartooth Inn and Absaroka Mountain Lodge.
