Rosie, I called the park information office for you and they confirmed that there will be a fireworks display starting at 9 p.m. It's not actually hosted by the park but by a group of local doctors. There some viewing areas alongside the roadside, but the fireworks are best viewed from the lake itself. Best area is in the Smith Creek Branch, according to the park staff member with whom I talked. He also recommended getting there nice and early if you want to be out on the lake and get the best spot. You can also view the fireworks from the public boat launch or marina at Browns Landing if you don't have your own boat. Enjoy, and happy 4th of July!
