Are there any "real" log cabins for rent near Lake George?
We are looking to take a late fall or early winter weekend in Lake George and are looking for a real log cabin with a fireplace and 2 bedrooms to rent within about 30 mins of Lake George Village. Any ideas or suggestions?

check with a realator,either in lake George or Warrensburg for that matter look into ridin hy ranch resort in warrensburg

You should have plenty of options, including the log cabins at Trout House Village Resort (http://www.trouthouse.com), 30 miles from Lake George on the lake's western shore.
