Are there any dog friendly beaches in NH? We want to take a trip to a beach for the first time with our kids and don't want to leave our dog behind. Thank you for your time.

Not sure if I'm too late but...
York, Maine is just over the border and I've seen people walking dogs there before. Might check if it's only certain hours or times of the season before you go though. We were staying at Short Sands.

I think NH is out for Fido, I'm afraid, as the state prohibits pets on all its public-access beaches; there are some inland parks where restrictions don't apply, so perhaps time to head for the New England lakes this summer? The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation lists the parks where pets are allowed at: http://www.nhstateparks.org/advisories-and-guidelines/pet-information.aspx
