Croatia is not on the Euro, so its official currency is the Kuna. Apparently there are some local businesses, like taxis, restaurants, and hotels, that will accept Euros, though this is an informal arrangement so is not guaranteed. So perhaps, get some Kuna and maybe a few Euros just in case.
