4 high school friends who graduated in 1965 are meeting in Chicago for the first weekend in October. We are staying near the Magnificent Mile and the Navy Pier. Any suggestions for our weekend?

There are a number of things to see in Chicago. Millennium Park, Navy Pier, Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), Magnificent Mile, The Art Institute of Chicago, and Grant Park are all places worth visiting. Also, if you're lucky, catch a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. If you're looking for a nice day trip, head over to Oak Park where you can visit Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio. The area of Lincoln Park offers some great shops and restaurants. If you're feeling like Italian, head over to Little Italy, which is a short cab ride away from downtown Chicago. I recommend Tuscanny. Reservations aren't needed if you're going for lunch or an early dinner, but it does tend to get busy around 7. For more ideas, read our picks for top attractions.
