Why should I join the Away.com
Affiliate Program? As an Away.com affiliate you can:
- Earn commissions: You earn a commission for each user
that
comes from your site to ours and registers for one of our free
contests
or products.
- Add great content to your site: Whether it's hosting
one of
our contests, or linking to some of our free products like our
screensavers
and postcards, we give your users several more reasons to come
back
to your site on a regular basis. As an affiliate we will pay
you to
offer content that should actually increase your site's
traffic.
|
| 2. |
How much can I expect to earn?
How much you earn depends on many factors, but our leading
affiliates are
earning over $4,000 per quarter. |
| 3. |
Am I eligible for any bonuses?
- Related Site Bonus: Sites where the majority of the
content
is closely related to ecotourism, cultural travel, or
adventure travel
can receive up to a $0.50 per member initial commission rate.
You must
apply for this bonus by sending an e-mail to affiliates@away.com
that provides the site URL and describes how the site is
focused on
ecotourism, cultural travel, or adventure travel. Away.com
shall be
the sole decision maker as to what bonus, if any, shall be
awarded.
- Quick Sign-up Bonus: $25 quick sign-up bonus for
putting up

within 7 days of sign up and provide the exact URL of the link
to Away.com.

How much work is involved
in maintaining the affiliate program? Very little. Once you've
signed
up, all you have to do is copy the code our automated system
generates for
you, and paste it on your page. Your affiliate username is
automatically
inserted into the code so that our tracking system can record all
of your
registrations. |
| 5. |
How will you deliver the contests,
products, and services? Our system automatically serves the
content
or banners on to your site. |
| 6. |
Sounds great, but how do you
track commissions? Our state-of-the-art database technology
allows us
to: - Track referrals and registrations.
- Run reports for
affiliates on
a monthly basis to identify referrals which have resulted in
registrations.
|
| 7. |
How can I track my progress?
Once you are logged into your affiliate account you can access our
online
tracking system by clicking "Activity Reports" in your Affiliate
Workspace.
This reporting system will allow you to track your referrals and
registrations.
|
| 8. |
How often do you pay commissions?
Commissions are paid quarterly. But, as covered in the terms and
conditions,
our minimum payout is $50. If your balance is less than $50, it
will be
carried over to the next quarter. |
| 9. |
What is the difference between
"Raw Referrals" and "Eligible Registrations?" A "Raw Referral"
is a
click-through from an affiliate's site to Away.com regardless of
whether
they register to become an Away.com member. An "Eligible
Registration" is
a user that comes from an affiliate site to Away.com and
subsequently registers
to become an Away.com member. This is the data point that you are
most interested
in because Away.com pays you only for users that become members.

What will happen to the registrations
I accumulated as a GreenTravel.com affiliate? Your
GreenTravel.com affiliate
account has been seamlessly transitioned into the Away.com
Affiliate Program.
All registrations that you accrued as a GreenTravel.com affiliate
(up until
February 7, 2000) will be carried over to the Away.com program and
will
be reflected in your account. The payout schedule will remain the
same.
It is imperative that you replace your GreenTravel.com banners
with Away.com
banners as soon as possible because as of February 7, 2000, you
will no
longer receive credit for any registrations that you send to
GreenTravel.com.
Please login to your account to access these new banners.
